My favorite Atlanta coffee shop. They describe themselves as "a modern take on the traditional general store". They do sell a lot of stuff - bagels, cupcakes, sandwiches, candy, etc but to me they're a quirky coffee shop. Their coffee is pretty good and they have these long wooden tables you have to sit on, so they get high marks for ambiance. Definitely not the kind of coffee shop you want to schedule meetings etc, a la Starbucks.
From what I can tell most other people seem to come to hang out, drink coffee etc as well and to treat it as a coffee shop rather than a General Store.
I think they can easily call themselves "a modern take on the traditional coffee shop" as well.
